Hello Friends and Neighbors in the Town of Round Lake
Do you love your oak trees? Would you be heartbroken to see them prematurely die? Do you use firewood for heating your home or cabin? If you answered yes to any of those questions, we have an important event to share with you. We are planning to host a live presentation on March 25th by Wisconsin DNR Forest Health Specialist, Paul Cigan, to discuss an emerging oak disease called oak wilt that has killed oaks in our town. The presentation will cover disease biology, recent spread trends in our area, and commonsense approaches to prevent and manage this devastating tree disease, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
