One of the BEST summer family traditions of the Hayward Lakes area is the spectacular July 3rd Round Lake fireworks show. This wonderful event has been a
tradition for the past 26 years.
Our projected expenses for 2019 are $15,000. Please help us continue this memorable tradition with your generous donation. All contributions are much appreciated. Donation amounts of $200 or more will be acknowledged in the Sawyer County Record.
Your contribution to this event helps serve many positive purposes including:
- A defined time for having a fireworks event
- Having an event that is insured
- Using environmentally safe fireworks
- Overseeing the professional set-up of equipment
- Monitoring the professional discharging of the fireworks
- Coordinating a police presence
- Coordinating a fire department presence
- Securing and patrolling areas over the launch and viewing areas during the event.
We believe this event reduces the number of ILLEGAL fireworks that would be otherwise introduced throughout the weekend without any of the above precautions.
