Membership Overview

RLPOA annual membership fee is $45/ calendar year.  RLPOA relies on membership dues and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) donations from property owners to fund Association activities.  AIS efforts are primarily focused on managing Eurasian water milfoil.  Anyone that loves Round and Little Round Lakes can join.  RLPOA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  

------------------------------ How to Join and/or Renew -------------------------------

Whether you have been on the lake for years or you are fairly new to the lake, we’d like to see everyone do their part in keeping our lakes safe and clean by paying their membership fee and generously contributing to AIS.  The RLPOA Membership person is Carol Kollodge – Membership@RoundLakes.org

To Join/Renew:

• If you are new to the lake/have yet to join RLPOA, please email Membership@RoundLakes.org with your name, mailing address, lake address and cell number along with how many years you’d like to pay (1 or 2 years - $45/calendar year).  If you’d like to make an AIS donation, include that amount.  Any donation is welcome.  Alternatively, you can send a check to RLPOA Box 1070 Hayward, WI 54843 (include lake address on the check).  
• If you are a member and/or your membership recently expired, go to Member Login (top right of RoundLakes.org).  Follow the prompts to renew your membership and/or make an AIS donation.  If you are not sure of your logon credentials, click on “Forgot…”.  Login instructions will be mailed to you.  Email Membership@RoundLakes.org if having issues.  Alternatively, you can send a check to RLPOA Box 1070 Hayward, WI 54843 (include lake address on the check).  
• If your membership expired a while ago, while you can try logging on (see above bullet), you most likely will need to email Membership@RoundLakes.org with your name, lake address and how many years you’d like to pay for at this time (1 or 2 years; $45/calendar year) and the amount of AIS donation.  An invoice will be created and you’ll be sent logo instructions to pay online.  Alternatively, you can send a check to RLPOA Box 1070 Hayward, WI 54843 (include lake address on the check).  

Tip to paying online:

You can use your credit card to pay online using a secure service through Stripe.  Just click on the credit card option when processing your payment online. 

Tip to adding a second email:  When your membership record is established, the primary person can go in and enter other’s emails as secondary members.  To do so, on the Member Profile screen, under More Member Options, click on Additional Members in Your Account under More Member Options.  Or email Membership@RoundLakes.org with the name and email.

As of April 27, 469 of our 708 (66.2%) property owners are members.  2025 membership drive is underway.  2025 membership fee is $45/calendar year. 

New - Member Map:  Are you curious who else is a member, see who is a member (member’s property is highlighted in blue).

Fellow members passing the word about RLPOA is a great way to encourage others to join, so if you see your neighbors are not members, talk to them about RLPOA and how we are the only ones that keep our lakes safe and clean.   Sawyer County, the State of Wisconsin or the DNR does NOT do this for us.  Please join and contribute to AIS today!

Note: The data on this map is as of April 27, 2025.  An updated map will be done in early August.  If you own more than one property and only pay one membership fee, than only one of your properties will be highlighted.  Members who own multiple properties can have multiple memberships.

Interesting facts about our lake property owners (as of April 27, 2025):

--The mailing address for 291 owners (41.1%) is in Wisconsin; 171 of those have a Hayward address.

--The mailing address for 251 owners (35.1%) is in Minnesota.

--The mailing address for 75 owners (10.6%) is in Illinios.

--Rounding out the top five states is Florida with 24 owners (3.4%) and Texas with 10 owners (1.4%)

--Owners live in 32 states plus one owner lives in London
